How does one check if the products sold online are organic??? Several websites advertise many items as organic but are they required to post if they are certifiable organic items??
A toiletry product can be labelled ‘organic’ even if it only has one organic ingredient in it! The only sure way to check the credibility of a product is by researching the manufacturer to some extent. Companies that have a firm commitment to organic products will display organic certifications and a full list of ingredients of each product. Always check to see if a product is certified. If it is not labelled as certified then it is most likely not certified. Companies don’t have to show this unless they’re claiming its certified, but it is usually a good selling point. Check the ingredients to make sure they are as pure as possible and there are not long chemical names that sound like it is full of synthetic chemicals. If the ingredients are not shown then ask to see them before purchasing. Most companies will state the percentage of ingredients that are organic, look for a % generally 70% organic or over.

Hope that helps
